‘It’s Time To Clear The Air’ - 60s TV, Cinema

Air pollution is the UK’s number one public health priority, contributing to 1 in 20 deaths. And our future generations are most at risk – the most dangerous pollution particles are more concentrated nearer the ground, meaning children inhale more than adults do. So how could E.ON highlight the threat to our children posed by this unseen killer to start the conversation about its clean air credentials? We made the invisible unmissable: shot from the point of view of a child, a happy family day in a park is tainted by an ominous CGI visualization of the toxic particles we breathe in every day. The pollution layer (noticeably thicker at our young narrator’s head height), provides a sinister contrast to the relaxed, sunny visuals as people go about their day without a care in the world. As our lad describes the solutions E.ON offers, the particles begin to disperse - eventually leaving us with a vision of the clean air future the company is working towards.
